cavlo was born out of the pandemic, when we were all staying home for "six weeks, until we flatten the curve." Six weeks became more like six months, and AVL business in Vegas was nearly non-existent. cavlo's Managing Director, Mike Brown-Cestero (a licensed pro AVL contractor), lamented all of the trade shows that had been scheduled for Vegas but were cancelled or postponed (on their way to being cancelled). So, he organized a few brave exhibitors into The Orleans main ballroom in May of 2021 and - poof! - cavlo was born.

Let's face it - most pro AVL trade shows weren't created for the average contractor or production firm. They are designed for -- and marketed to -- the top 1% of the industry. If you work for a firm that has fewer than 50 employees (which industry experts estimate to be about 97% of the #proAVL community), your only hope for a good seat at the (business) table is that you have a strong local rep who is vested in your success. But not at cavlo - cavlo is designed to put smaller firms - whether manufacturer, service provider or end user -- on equal footing with the "big boys."
